Snowy Days

I thought it was crazy that it snowed so much in SG. It was fun for a few days, but I don't like to be cold so I'm glad it doesn't snow all the time. I didn't even know how to drive in it, I really don't think I've really driven in the snow before, I was going like 20 mph =) But we had fun, we got out the sled and found a big hill by our house. Rylie loves the snow, we take her sledding every year and she will stay out in it all day. Kyler on the other hand didn't like it so much and cried. Rylie and I took turns pulling him around on the sled in our backyard, and he didn't know if he should laugh or cry. Usually he loves being outside, and will throw a fit when we go inside, but he didn't mind coming in the house after playing in the snow. -I don't know why I have so much space at the bottom of this post, I couldn't fix it.

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Don's Wedding

Donny got married last weekend (I'm usually a week behind on posting things) They got married in the St. George temple, and they had a luncheon here, but they didn't do a reception. It was a nice day, they seemed really happy, and I'm happy for them. Now they're honeymooning in Jamaica!

Family Pictures

Thanks to Brandy, who I go to for all my photography needs, we got some family pictures taken, so I could do Christmas cards. It was so hard getting the kids to look in the right direction at the same time, let alone smile at the same time, and it was so cold that day, but I think we got some cute ones, thanks Brandy!

Do I Dare?

Okay, so we've been struggling with the desicion of getting a puppy for Rylie for Christmas (shhhh to those who see Ry), well for me too cuz I really want one, but I'm pretending it's mostly for the kids. But I just don't know if I'm ready for the commitment, am I crazy? We had a dog before, and it didn't have a good ending so I just don't know what to do. My kid's would love it, they LOVE animals, we have a cat that comes into our backyard to play, and they go crazy, my daughter tries to hide her and keep her, they just love it (Kade says no cats). So I really think they would love it if we got one, and how cute would that Christmas morning be? But they are so much work, what do I do??????

What I'm thankful for....

I love this time of year, there's a lot going on everyone seems happy and excited for the holidays, the weather is beautiful (atleast it is in St. George) it's just a great time of year. I feel very blessed, I have so much to be thankful for, here's a few;

Of course Kade and my kids's are first. I don't know what my life would be like without them, but I know it wouldn't be much of a life. I have two of the happiest, funest kids and they always keep us laughing and smiling. And a husband who works so hard for us, and never complains.

I'm thankful that we still have jobs. The way the economy is right now, and the fact that my husband is in construction, I am very greatful that he still has work and a paycheck. I'm also greatful for my job.

I'm thankful for our families. We get so much love and support from our families, and they help us out with our kids a lot. They are the reason I can work. My mom watches my kids on her day off, an so does my mother in law. My kids are so lucky to have such great grandparents, and aunts and unlces who are crazy about them. I'm also thankful for the friendships we have within our families. We truly enjoy our families.

I'm thankful for friends. It's so fun to have friends to hang out with, talk with, go to the park with, to just enjoy life with!

I'm thankful for my freedom, and for the opportunity to live in America. I'm thankful for all those who fought, and are still fighting for our freedoms.

I'm thankful for the gospel in my life. I'm thankful that I can go to church each sunday, and that I can raise my children in the gospel so that they can have a chance in this crazy world.

We all have so much to be greatful for. It's hard not to always be wanting something more. But we are so blessed, and I hope at this time of year we can remember and help those who aren't.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Rylie & Kyler's Birthday

On Saturday we celebrated Rylie's 5th and Kyler's 1st birthday. It was a friend party and since Rylie has more boy friends than girl friends we couldn't do a girly party, so we had a pirate party. It was a lot of fun. We had it at the park and the kids painted treasure boxes, put on fake tattos and played and then Rylie "found" a treasure map that led them to a hidden treasure box. I of course got to be the pirate that took them on their treasure hunt. They found the treasure chest in no time and got to fill up their painted treasure boxes with the treasure that was in the chest. It was a really fun party, I hope the kids had as much fun as I did! I spaced my kids out by 4 years and then they ended up 3 days apart! So this is a really busy/expensive time of year for us. They will probably get shared birthday parties their whole lives. I wanted to post more pics but my computer was being too slow.

Family Party

We had a family party on sunday at Kade's parent's house, our families are too big, we can't fit in our house. They had fun, playing with their cousins, eating cake and opening up even more presents! I can't believe I have a 5 year old, and that my baby is one! Time flies by! People aren't exagerating when they say, "enjoy them because they're gone before you know it", but that makes me want to cry! You can probably tell from my blog that my kids are my life!
