Girlfriends

Whether you're 5 or 25, its great to have girlfriends! I have such good friends who are always there for me. I love spending time with these girls, we always have a blast! It was Danielle's birthday so it was a good excuse to have a girls night, and we had so much fun. We usually can't stop talking and get in trouble with our husbands because we're out so late. I'm so glad I met Brandy and Danielle, my life would be a lot more boring without them.

January Happenings!

I haven't been blogging lately, kinda busy so here's an overview of our January.
Kya is getting bigger, and fast! I think we finally have her potty trained. But she is wild, and gets too rough with the kids, so we are working on that now. But we have liked having her, well me and the kids anyway!

Rylie started taking gymnastics at the first of the year at the Washington rec center. She loves it! And she's good at it too! I thought it would be a good way to channel her energy. It is awesome, I am really happy with it, and how she has progressed allready. (I accidentaly posted the same picture twice)

Kade turned 26, and I made him the yummiest ice cream cake that probably gives you your whole day calorie intake in one slice! He wasn't happy about turning 26 but the cake helped him feel better.

Kyler's hair was getting a little long and shaggy, so he had his first real haircut by Brandy. He would not sit still at all, but she did a great job, it looks so cute, thanks Brandy!

After his haricut. When Kyler hears Kade's work truck pull up he runs to the window and stands on the chair to look out.

Kyler allready has a love for dirt bikes and fourweelers. He's been getting rides since he was 6 months old. So now he thinks he big enough to be on by himself. He also loves helping dad fix things with tools, they like to hang out in the garage together allready.

Merry Christmas!

The newest member of our family, Kya.
So we decided to do it, we got a puppy. She is a 7 week old brindle boxer. She has been a lot of fun, the kids love her. It is definitely a lot of work though, I felt like I had a new baby, but I'm getting used to it now.

Rylie was so surprised! we woke up early, put the puppy in a box under the tree, and I thought her crying would wake Rylie up, it didn't so we went in and said, Rylie you have a box under the tree and it's making weird noises, come see. So right when we came in Kya popped the top of the box and jumped out, so cute! What she really wanted for Christmas was tinkerbell's real magic, which she had all sorts of plans for (that's what she asked santa for) but she hasn't complained about not getting that. She did say, "maybe santa should of brought us a puppy that didn't bite".

Kyler wanted santa's left overs, that's what he was most concerned about. He's looking around to see if anyone's watching him.

We had a great Christmas. Christmas eve we always go to a family party with my family, and my aunt and cousins, we had a great time. We live in the same town but never get to see each other, so it's always fun to get together with them. It's turning into a pretty big group now that we're all getting married and having kids, but that makes it even funner!
On Christmas morning we do our own thing, we open presents and make a big breakfast. The kids had such a fun morning cuz of the puppy and Kyler really liked opening his and everyone else's presents that I had been trying to keep him out of for weeks. Then we go over to my parent's and exchange gifts, and then to Kade's parents to exchange gifts. Then we come home for awhile and then go back to Kade's parents for Christmas dinner. It's kind of a crazy busy day for us, but we're totally spoiled with gifts and food all day. It's great to be loved!

Snowy Days

I thought it was crazy that it snowed so much in SG. It was fun for a few days, but I don't like to be cold so I'm glad it doesn't snow all the time. I didn't even know how to drive in it, I really don't think I've really driven in the snow before, I was going like 20 mph =) But we had fun, we got out the sled and found a big hill by our house. Rylie loves the snow, we take her sledding every year and she will stay out in it all day. Kyler on the other hand didn't like it so much and cried. Rylie and I took turns pulling him around on the sled in our backyard, and he didn't know if he should laugh or cry. Usually he loves being outside, and will throw a fit when we go inside, but he didn't mind coming in the house after playing in the snow. -I don't know why I have so much space at the bottom of this post, I couldn't fix it.

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Don's Wedding

Donny got married last weekend (I'm usually a week behind on posting things) They got married in the St. George temple, and they had a luncheon here, but they didn't do a reception. It was a nice day, they seemed really happy, and I'm happy for them. Now they're honeymooning in Jamaica!

Family Pictures

Thanks to Brandy, who I go to for all my photography needs, we got some family pictures taken, so I could do Christmas cards. It was so hard getting the kids to look in the right direction at the same time, let alone smile at the same time, and it was so cold that day, but I think we got some cute ones, thanks Brandy!

Do I Dare?

Okay, so we've been struggling with the desicion of getting a puppy for Rylie for Christmas (shhhh to those who see Ry), well for me too cuz I really want one, but I'm pretending it's mostly for the kids. But I just don't know if I'm ready for the commitment, am I crazy? We had a dog before, and it didn't have a good ending so I just don't know what to do. My kid's would love it, they LOVE animals, we have a cat that comes into our backyard to play, and they go crazy, my daughter tries to hide her and keep her, they just love it (Kade says no cats). So I really think they would love it if we got one, and how cute would that Christmas morning be? But they are so much work, what do I do??????
